CAL Consulting is led by Dr. Kathleen M. Crowley, a methodologist whose work focuses on how inquiry is organized and why it so often produces answers without producing learning.Her training began in psychometrics and research methodology at Indiana University. Over nearly three decades she directed national research and evaluation studies for federal agencies in health, education, and justice, and held senior research roles at Westat, Abt Associates, Battelle, and Circle Solutions. She completed her doctorate in Human and Organizational Learning at The George Washington University, where she later served as Visiting Assistant Professor and Director of the Organizational Leadership and Learning program and received the Outstanding Teaching Award. Her dissertation on creativity in early drug discovery received the Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award, and the volume she co-edited, Human Interactions, Processes, and Contexts, received the Academy of Human Resource Development's Book of the Year Award.Her book, Learnment: Connecting Learning to Inquiry, is forthcoming.Dr. Crowley is based in Pleasant Ridge, Michigan. kathleen@learnfromchange.com
